Making furniture...

Furniture is one of the products that when done right can last forever and even be used throughout several generations. That’s why at Precious Plastic we knew we had to make our own collection using only recycled plastic.

Throughout the year I developed many prototypes and researched into different ways how to turn this material into valuable marble-like pieces.

Using these insights I used carpentry tools and techniques to design an easy-to-make stool that could be reproduced worldwide in the most accessible way.

Following the open source roots of the project we also developed a step by step tutorial on how to make it, so the community could learn, use and improve on the design.
